Conference Participation
VetEd Europe 2026 accepts submissions in the following formats:
• 90-minute Interactive Workshop
Facilitators should structure the session to maximise active participation, using interactive methods and collaborative activities.
• 15-minute Short Communication (10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A)
Accepted abstracts will be grouped by theme.
• 5-minute E-Poster Talk (3 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A)
Digital posters will be displayed throughout the conference on dedicated screens.
At the discretion of the VetEd Europe Programming Committee, accepted proposals may be assigned to a different format if better suited to the program.
Abstract Instructions
Please submit your abstract in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Maximum length: 250 words.
- Content: The abstract should include a brief introduction, aim / purpose, methods / approach (if relevant), key findings / results; key discussion points or implications for veterinary education practice.
Themes
VetEd Europe 2026 invites proposals on themes including (but not limited to):
- Interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration
- Innovation in teaching and learning
- Clinical skills
- Curriculum development, integration of clinical and foundational sciences, competence-based approaches
- Professionalism, identity formation, wellbeing, resilience, and sustainability in the veterinary professions
- Spectrum of care pedagogy and curricular innovation
- Assessment strategies, including OSCEs, workplace-based assessment, feedback models
- Use of technology, simulation, and blended learning in veterinary education
- Others
